Enabling Act or Statute
Soil and Water Conservation Districts in the State of Ohio are governed under laws and rules for soil and water conservation in Ohio including the enabling statue for the Ohio Department of Agriculture's Division of Soil and Water Conservation and mandates for manure pollution abatement as well as the enabling statute for the Ohio Soil and Water Conservation Commission and operating authority for Ohio's 88 Soil and Water Conservation Districts.
Greene Soil and Water Conservation District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Greene Soil and Water Conservation District
