Greene County Environmental Services and the Greene SWCD have partnered to apply and have recieved grant monies from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) to implement a residental tire recycling program for the residents of Greene County Ohio.
Limited funding is available to support this collection program. Registrations will be accepted in the order they are recieved. The number of participants or tires may be limited.
Tires on or off rims will be accepted
Limit of 10 tires per vehicle and trailer
Tires accepted from Greene County residents and properties only
Businesses are not eligible to participate
Large earth moving tire and tracks are not accepted
There is a small fee per tire:
Car or Light Truck = $1.00 per tire
Semi-Truck = $2.00 per tire
Agricultural = $5.00 per tire
